You've heard of the '60s? Well, I damn well lived them (starting in Maquoketa, IA). From the age of 14, I've played in bands, first folk then rock and have continued through the present. I now own my own drum kit, my trailer and my Harley. Don't try this at home, kids, this is your life on music!

Kevin Brixius

Raised in rural southern Minnesota, I got my first guitar at the age of 16 and immediately began writing songs. (I couldn't play anyone else's songs good enough.) For a long time I used to quit my job and move out of my "home" every couple of years to go travelling - hitching rides through the western states, working a barge on the Yukon River, at a summer camp in the Italian Alps and driving a bus down to South America. I kept writing songs, not sure why, but there you are.

Theresa Horan

Born in the semi-mythical town of Wells, MN, my formative years included piano lessons and singing in church. But it wasn't until Rockthrow was formed in the early 21st century that music really became more than a passive experience for me. Now playing keyboards, singing, riding my bicycle (oh yeah, and work) occupy much of my time. Hopefully the music part will continue as long as Kevin and Jamie survive.
