Why I Should Stop Driving Cab
A guy creeping around the alley behind the 90’s.
pistol held skyward between both hands.
He creeps along, back to the wall,
leaps before doorways,
drops the gun into firing position,
then resumes his hunt,
barrel up.
I should’ve called 911
I didn’t think of it.
I was watching ballet.
It was 2 A.M.,
one hour of
bar rush to go.
